ACTING II: Over the course of two weeks, our teenage acting troupe will audition for, rehearse, produce and perform a one-act play based on a classical work of theatre. This summer’s production will be MMMBETH, a hilarious comedy in one-act based on the Scottish play which includes ditzy witches, Queen Duncan (who refuses to die), the Insane Housewife of Dunsinane, and of course our tragic protagonist (who shall not be named lest a piece of heavy scenery fall on your head). Participants will learn acting, stagecraft, physical comedy, performance skills, basic stage combat, some of the best poetry ever written, and how to not take it all so seriously!
