Summer Theatre Festival

An annual series of free Shakespeare performances, special theatrical events, and the Summer High School Apprentice Program for the entertainment of our community and the Northern LA region.  Adapting and reimagining classical works, a new work, local concerts other theatrical events, to bring our community together.  The Summer High School Apprentice program is specifically for local high school students to learn from the professional theatre artists working with the company; receiving training in theatre, performance, special events, gaining valuable jobs skills.

Educational Outreach Program

Providing year round, free and low cost programming for in-school assemblies, after-school enrichment, and community workshops and classes for schools throughout the Northern Los Angeles County region, both in the educational school-site environment and throughout the community.

Crezca Teatro Comunitario

Currently there are no arts classes that reach our Spanish speaking community, nor are there any Spanish speaking performing arts groups in Santa Clarita or the Northern LA County region.  In conjunction to the Arts Center/Shared Performance space project, SCSF has initiated a community engagement program, creating a piece with, for and by the Spanish speaking community in Newhall.  It is our intent to assist in the development of Spanish language performing arts programming that will eventually utilize the shared performance space.

New Work/ New Voices/Artists Development

SCSF believes artists and their voices are at the center of the theatrical experience, and we are dedicated to exploring new voices and the development of emerging artists within and around our community.

Art Center/Shared Community Performances Space

Working with various local non-profit arts groups, our goal is the creation of a small & flexible rehearsal and performance space to encourage, foster, and promote small and diverse arts organizations in the community.
