A model of scenic design for The Tempest

For the inaugural performance for SCSF's new venue, The Tempest will be the first permanent and  fully realized scenic design for the Shakespeare in the Park series.  Designed by director Mark McQuown, building will begin on the 400 square foot stage late June.

A New Home

After years of performances traveling through local parks throughout the Santa Clarita Valley, the Shakespeare Festival has found a new home, Towsley Canyon, at the Ed Davis Park.  Located off Calgrove, the park is at the gateway to the Santa Clarita, just off the 5 freeway and close the 118, the 14, and the 126.

"This location is easliy accessable and we hope will raise the visability of the festival", says David Stears, the company's Executive Director.
