SCSF begins Outreach Program with tour of Romeo & Juliet

SCSF is kicking of our Educational Outreach Program with selected scenes from Shakespeare's classic tragedy Romeo & Juliet.
"We think it is important to bring life to this great play." says David Stears, the company's Executive Director. "It is about teenagers, and
impetuous behavior by all the characters.  That is something 9th graders can connect to.  And the play NEEDS to be heard, not just read."

The Educational Outreach Program is SCSF's year-round commitment to Keeping the Classics ALIVE! with students, in our schools and in the minds and hearts of the community.

In Addition to the R&J tour, the EOP will eventually include a touring show for elementary schools (k-5), teh summer apprentice program, workshops and residencies, at little or no coast to the school.
